Jean began playing classical piano at 6 years old and quickly distinguished himself by winning multiple regional and international competitions across Europe. His early career saw him perform in recitals and concerts in different places.
At 13, he discovered his passion for film music through Brian Tyler’s Iron Man 3 score. Three years later, Hans Zimmer’s Dunkirk became a turning point, inspiring him to pursue a career as a film composer.
After earning his classical diploma from the National Conservatory of Perpignan (France) at 18, Jean made the bold decision to move to the United States to further his studies and establish himself in the music industry. Today, his compositions are featured extensively in sports media, with placements on Fox Sports, the NBA, the NFL, Big Ten Network, and (NCAA) major university games across the U.S., including USC and UCLA. He makes music for trailers, events (fireworks, laser shows) and movies.
Jean draws inspiration from film composers like Brian Tyler, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and John Powell, as well as classical legends such as Beethoven, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, and Bruckner.
